Editor's Note:
Customers flock to and queue for hours outside a store of Wang Jia Sha, a time-honored brand of dim sum in Shanghai on Friday to purchase qingtuan, a traditional Chinese snack made of glutinous rice mixed with wormwood juice or barley grass and red bean stuffing. This delicacy is typically enjoyed in southern parts of China during the Qingming Festival, when people honor their late relatives by sweeping tombs or have outings in spring. About 100,000 pieces of qingtuan are sold at the store on Friday, as this year's Qingming Festival falls on April 4. (Photos: Chen Xia/GT)
